Duties

The Adoption Coordinator with work in a team environment and will be responsible for reviewing all applications received for potentail adopters.  You will be responsible for the coordination of setting up meetings with potential adopters and other team volunteers.

  • ​​​Review adoption applications, interview prospective adopters  

  • ​Provide specific information about animal (behavioral and medical information)  

  • ​Provide accurate information to potential adopters  

  • ​Address adopter's concerns  

  • ​Explain adoption process  

  • ​Coordinate Meet and Greets and Home Visits  

  • ​Attend adoption events  

  • ​Maintain a strong, professional relationship with adopters, volunteers, and donors  

  • ​Maintain rescue’s databases and animal records  

  • ​Willing to assist with other needs of TAGS (spring cleanup, fundraisers etc.)
