The Meet & Greet is Step #1 in the adoption process. It’s the first meeting between an adoptable dog and his/her potential adopters, and our opportunity to see how they interact with each other. The M&G Volunteer chairs the meeting, supports the foster, provides information to the applicants, assesses the applicants, and provides feedback to the Adoption Team. You would be responsible for preparing for the meeting by doing the set up, greeting the applicants, interviewing the applicants and providing a report back. Training is provided for this role and initially you would be working with another volunteer. All meet and greets are done in person at the TAGS facility in Blackstock.
