Duties | Actively listen to victims and survivors of sexual violence who are struggling. Provide de-escalation, grounding, check-ins, community resources and appropriate information/referrals to callers/clients * connect with staff for support or debriefing * attend volunteer meetings and new training/workshops opportunities * Submit call logs * complete a 6 session (18 hour) volunteer training, and recieve a training certificate |

We take volunteers on the crisis line from all over Canada, from Vancouver to Montreal to Halifax! |
Training | Training is provided ; Training is required - 6 weeks, remote live video training ; Scheduled training - Training is offer live, 3 training rotations per year, Winter, Spring/Summer, Fall |
Cost | There is a fee for volunteers to obtain a police check in most areas, however we do reimburse once Police checks with vulnerable sector screening have been received. |
