The new Treasurer would need their own computer. DRIFF pays the monthly subscription fees for access to Quickbooks. |
Commitment Length | Long Term (Minimum of 6 months) - 2 years ; It would be best if the new Treasurer can start this fall, so that a comfortable overlap can be agreed to with our current Treasurer, to ease-in the new person. |
Interaction Level | Solitary - for financial transactions and report generation ; Virtual Volunteering - meetings ; You are welcome in-person at community screenings, the Film Festival and the Gala, as your time and interest allow. Tickets to all will be provided for you. |

Dates and Times | Choose your own time to enter financial transactions into Quickbooks. Board meetings happen 9 months of the year. They are online, on the 2nd Wednesday of those months, starting at 5 pm and lasting up to 2 hours. The Finance Committee meets around that time too, for planning and consolidation. |
Seasons | Year Round ; Most months are slow (fewer than 10 transactions per month), - especially the summer months - in our current financial situation. September to November are the busiest months for transactions (30 to 50 transactions per month), because the Film Festival takes place over 3 days in late October. |
Accessibility | All the work of the Treasurer would be done in your own home or office. If you chose to attend our events, all the venues we are currently using are accessible except The Biltmore. |

Training | Orientation ; We are hoping that the new Treasurer can start this fall, so that a comfortable overlap can be arranged with our current Treasurer, to ease-in the new person comfortably. |
